NOTICE PURSUANT TO THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LAW NO. 6698
- Purpose
This information and disclosure is provided under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). Kılıçbey Tourism Operations Construction Industry and Trade Incorporated Company, as the Data Controller, informs you about the services it provides and will provide to you; it collects and processes personal data, explains what types of data are collected in this context, how this personal data is used, what your rights are regarding the personal data processed by our Company, and how you can exercise these rights.
- Processed Personal Data
The scope of personal data that you have voluntarily shared is not limited to the following, but includes data such as your name, surname, date of birth, identity information, mobile phone number, email address, gender, address, occupation, education, marital status, accommodation and spending information, social media accounts, shopping information, and billing information.
Your personal data may vary depending on the service, product, or commercial activity provided by our Company; it may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically through automatic or non-automatic methods, via offices, branches, dealers, call centers, websites, social media platforms, mobile applications, and similar means. Your personal data may be processed by being created and updated for as long as you benefit from our Company’s products and services.
Additionally, when you use our call center or website with the intention of using the Company’s services, when you visit our Company or website, or when you participate in training sessions, seminars, or events organized by our Company, your personal data may be processed.
The personal data mentioned above is used to carry out necessary operational activities within the company, to conduct necessary work with the relevant business unit and business partners in order to recommend suitable products and services for consumption and purchase to our customers, to ensure the rights of individuals by providing human resources management by our Company, taking the necessary steps for our Company to make, implement, and execute commercial decisions, ensuring the legal security of the individuals with whom we have established a business relationship and our Company arising from these relationships, and for similar purposes, without being limited to these, in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.
Additionally, your Personal Data may be processed by our Company as the Data Controller, as specified in Article 5 of the KVKK, without requiring your explicit consent in the following cases:
- Explicitly provided for in the laws,
- Where it is necessary to protect the life or physical integrity of the person themselves or another person, if the person is unable to express their consent due to actual impossibility or if their consent is not legally valid.
- Provided that it is directly related to the performance of the contract, the processing of personal data belonging to the parties to the contract is necessary.
- It is necessary for us to fulfill our legal obligations as the data controller;
- The fact that the person concerned has made it public themselves.
- Where processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims
- Provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, data processing may be carried out for the legitimate interests of the data controller, based on any of the following conditions, for the purposes specified below.
- Scope of Use and Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data is collected for the purpose of providing you with better service. This data is customized according to your preferences, interests, and needs and is collected to share the products and services offered by our Company with you, to ensure the legal and commercial security of our Company and persons with whom we have a business relationship, and to ensure the continuity of our Company policy.

- Rights of Data Subjects
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, the rights of individuals who are the owners of personal data are as follows:
- The right to know whether your personal data is being processed,
- The right to request information regarding the processing of your personal data,
- The right to learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is being used for its intended purpose,
- The right to know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred within or outside the country,
- The right to request the correction of personal data that has been processed incompletely or incorrectly, and to request that the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred be notified of this action.
- As stated in Article 7 of the KVKK, even if personal data has been processed in accordance with the KVKK and other relevant laws, the right to request the deletion or destruction of personal data when the reasons for processing no longer exist, and to request that this action be communicated to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
- The right to object to a decision made solely through the automated processing of personal data that adversely affects the individual,
- The right to request compensation for damages incurred as a result of the unlawful processing of personal data.
Pursuant to Article 13, Paragraph 1 of the KVKK, you may submit your request to exercise the rights mentioned above to our Company in writing or through other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. As the Personal Data Protection Board has not specified any method at this stage, you must submit your request to our Company in writing, in accordance with the KVKK. In this context, the channels and procedures for submitting your written requests to our Company under Article 11 of the KVKK are explained below.
To exercise your rights as outlined above, please submit your request, which must include the necessary information to verify your identity and a statement specifying the right you wish to exercise as outlined in Article 11 of the KVKK, by completing the form in this information text and sending a copy of the form to our Company’s “Basın Ekspres Yolu Yavuz Sultan Selim Cad. Applications submitted within this scope will be processed within the shortest possible time frame and no later than thirty (30) days. These applications are currently free of charge. However, if the process incurs additional costs, a fee may be charged in accordance with the rates determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
- Retention Period, Deletion, Destruction, and Anonymization of Personal Data
Your personal data will be stored for the periods specified in the legislation.
In accordance with Article 7/1 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, your personal data processed for specific reasons shall be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized by the Data Controller upon the request of the relevant person or automatically when the reasons for processing such data cease to exist.
Data subjects always have the right to withdraw their explicit consent regarding the processing and use of their personal data. To withdraw your consent, you may send an email to info@wyndhamistanbuleurope.com with your request.
- Changes to the Personal Data Protection Policy
Our company may make changes to this Personal Data Protection Policy document at any time. These changes will take effect immediately upon posting the revised Personal Data Protection Policy on the “wyndhamgrandistanbuleurope.com” website. You will be notified of any changes to this Personal Data Protection Policy.
- Final Provisions
The User(s) acknowledge that they have read the Personal Data Protection Policy above before accessing the website, agree to comply with all the above-mentioned provisions, and irrevocably accept, declare, and undertake that the content on the website and all electronic media and computer records belonging to our Company shall be considered conclusive evidence in accordance with Article 193 of the Code of Civil Procedure.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), personal data owners defined as “data subjects” (hereinafter referred to as “Applicants”) are granted the right to make certain requests regarding the processing of their personal data under Article 11 of the KVK Law.
Pursuant to the first paragraph of Article 13 of the KVK Law, applications to our Company, which is the data controller, regarding these rights must be submitted to us in writing or by other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board (“Board”).
